These products are built to ensure patient safety while making your isolated power system easier to operate and monitor. An annunciator with LIM signals is required in all areas served by an isolated power system, in accordance with the NFPA-70, "National Electrical Code". A remote annunciator is required when the isolated power panel is located outside the area being served. Whether being used inside surgery rooms or at nurse stations, units should be located above the five foot level for enhanced visibility by all personnel. Hospitals and consulting engineers typically agree that repetitive indicators at central nursing stations increase safety in surgical suite areas, ICUs and CCUs.
